About Me

I’m Alex, a Self-Employed Personal Assistant specialising in care for neurodivergent adults and children.

I’m friendly, reliable and love putting smiles on faces. I’m very passionate about providing person-centred care focusing on promoting independence and helping individuals to explore their interests and make special memories.

I grew up caring for my younger brother who has ASD, he inspired me to move into Social Care professionally. With over ten years’ experience in various roles and teams I initially started as a support worker in a supported living service before managing it during the pandemic.

I then studied to become a qualified Social Worker working for Brent Council’s Complex Care Team and moved back into 1:1 support for Watford Mencap’s Community Activities and Supported Living teams.

In January 2025, I registered as a Self-Employed Personal Assistant working with clients in Hertfordshire. I have recently moved to South East London and looking to take on new clients in the area.
